Anyone who has faced a divorce or separation understands how confusing and overwhelming the process can be. But what if you were never legally married? In California, couples who live together for an extended time but never marry may have legal rights through what is called a Marvin Action.
A Marvin Action in California is a unique type of family law lawsuit designed to resolve property and support disputes between unmarried cohabiting partners after a breakup. Although less common than traditional divorce proceedings, a Marvin Action lawsuit can include many similar legal considerations, such as division of assets and financial support.

I got referred to your law firm by the attorney bar association in regards to my need of legal assistance. Does your firm handle sales/purchase agreement?

I need help with the Marvin Actions.
Hey, my name is Rita. I have a case going in San Joaquin County a breach of contract Marvin versus Marvin. I need a consultation and representation. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you. Have a great day.
I would like to know if your firm handles Marvin law cases? If not if you can refer me to a law firm that does. My cellular number is 619-253-2327.
Hi Flora
Found you via google and chat gpt.
I’m currently involved in a Marvin Civil paternity case. The opposing counsel is Goldstein Clark.
The case was filed after a long contested move away case that I won and currently share 50/50 custody.
Most of discovery has been handled by Reape Ricket and they don’t do Marvin Civil and the partner I was working with moved on.
There is no contract or sharing of assets. This is heavily documented. There is a claim of Oral agreement or contract. Which is fabricated and claimed by my former partners mother (80 yrs. Old)
Anyway – this is in Los Angeles. Do you work in LA county. Court date is targeted for April 2027.
Negotiations were attempted but failed as opposition is looking for a shake down pay day.
I’m comfortable working via Teams or zoom if that matters. LA county uses LA connect, but I don’t see this going near a court house given all the investment made thus far with documentation.
Best Regards
